You can be here! A series that captures the duality of our thinking.
The first post in the series is talking about the conflict in our minds about how to live life in a pandemic with some of the world having access to a vaccine, but not all. It’s about having a vaccine that is so dang effective, but since you know it’s not 100% you wonder if you shouldn’t have done x, y, or z last weekend. It’s about knowing that while you’re vaccinated and in a lower-risk group (for severe illness), you interact with people who may not be protected.
I am here to tell you that you can be here! You can be in this place with me where you know and trust that the vaccines provide fantastic protection, but also feel a strong personal responsibility to continue practicing caution. You can be here!
