The widespread lockdowns at the start of the pandemic were hard. Much harder for some than others, and for everyone in slightly different ways. No one wants to do them again.
This is gentle reminder that because of highly effective vaccines, we have the opportunity to function as a society during a pandemic! At the onset, the lockdowns kept us safe because we did not have a way to acquire immunity without assuming all the risks that come with COVID-19. Now we do!!!
I’m truly not sure how vaccines have become the enemy to some, but they allow us to LIVE – both literally and figuratively. We have vaccines (and other easy day-to-day precautions like masking) to thank for no lockdowns!
