Infection Graphic Dictionary

Anyone still confused about some of the words being used to describe Covid-19 or the vaccinations? I recently had a friend suggest I put something together to help explain, in an illustrative way, how exactly the vaccine antibodies reduce transmission and how breakthrough cases can still occur. So I put together this little graphic dictionary that I hope will do the trick!

We go over infection, shedding, viral load, immunity, neutralization, protective immunity, transmissibility, breakthrough cases, and – putting all of this together – how we know vaccination results in lowered spreading.

I hope you get something out of this! I had so much fun putting it together. 🙌🏼

For some fun: comment below which definition you liked the most!
